How to Change the Language on Your Homture Frame

Apr 10, 2026 Homture

Your Homture digital photo frame supports 8 languages, and switching between them is instant — no restart required. Whether you're setting up the frame for someone who speaks a different language or just prefer a different display language, this guide shows you exactly how to change it.

Supported Languages

Your Homture frame currently supports the following 8 languages:

English
Deutsch (German)
Français (French)
Español (Spanish)
Italiano (Italian)
Nederlands (Dutch)
Português (Portuguese)
Dansk (Danish)
Note: Arabic and Chinese are not currently enabled on the frame. Homture may add additional language support in future software updates.

How to Change the Language

Changing the language takes just a few taps:

Step 1

Tap the frame screen to bring up the menu, then tap Settings.

Step 2

In the Settings menu, tap Language.

Step 3

You'll see a list of all supported languages. The currently active language has a checkmark next to it.

Step 4

Tap the language you want to switch to. The frame switches instantly — the entire interface rebuilds in the new language right away.

No restart needed Unlike many devices, the Homture frame doesn't require a reboot to apply a language change. The switch is immediate.

Changing Language During Initial Setup

If you're setting up your Homture frame for the first time, you can also choose your language during the initial setup wizard. The language selection screen appears early in the setup process, before you connect to Wi-Fi or pair with the app.

If you skipped this step or want to change the language after setup, just follow the steps above via Settings > Language.

Notes on Language Support

What changes when you switch languages

When you select a new language, the frame rebuilds the current page in that language. This includes:

  • All menu labels and navigation items
  • Settings screen text
  • System messages and notifications
  • Date and time formatting conventions

Photo captions and content

Changing the frame language does not affect photo captions or content you've added through the app. Those remain as you entered them.

Switching back

You can switch languages as many times as you like. If you accidentally switch to a language you don't understand, the Language option is always in the same position in Settings — just tap through to find it and select a language you recognize.

Tip: If you've switched to an unfamiliar language and can't navigate back, the Settings icon is typically in the top-right corner of the frame menu. From there, Language is listed in the Settings menu — look for the globe or language icon.
